BerryMix is made up of flavorsome Pomegranate and Blackcurrant powder from Italy, enhanced with TrubBroc® that further prolong the antioxidants effect for several days in the body, and completed with the addition of Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid).
Pomegranate Fruit
Pomegranate skin is rich in many compounds such as phenolics, flavonoids, ellagitannins,
proanthocyanins compounds, polysaccharides, and many minerals including potassium, nitrogen, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and sodium. Pomegranate seeds are a rich source of total lipids and oils that are composed of high concentrations of fatty acids such as linoleic acid (LA). Juice is known to be a rich antioxidants source in polyphenols, tannins, and anthocyanins including vitamin C, vitamin E, coenzyme Q10, and lipoic acid.
Pomegranate Leaves
Pomegranate leaves, like the bark, are rich in polyphenolic compounds including tannins (punicalin, pedunculated, gallagic acid, ellagic acid, and glucose) and flavonoids.
Pomegranate Flower
All parts of the pomegranate are useful, but in the Unani and Ayurvedic medical systems, only the flower part has been prescribed for the treatment of diabetes. Pomegranate flowers contain different compounds, and the most abundant are polyphenols (gallic acid [GA] and ellagic acid) and triterpenes (oleanolic, ursolic, maslinic, and Asiatic acids). There is also a sterol (daucosterol) and one flavonoid (punicaflavone) which can be extracted from flowers.
Black Grapes (Ribes nigrum L.) is a natural dark pigmented berry that grows natively between northern Europe and Northern Asia, where it prefers moist and fertile soil. These fruits are now grown in several states in the United States (Oregon, New York, Vermont, and Connecticut) and are known to be a source of phenolic compounds, including anthocyanins, hydroxycinnamic acids, and flavonols. Therefore, they have better antioxidants than other fruits. There are about 18 compounds have been identified in black grapes. The raw fruits are very rich in vitamin C and polyphenols. Black grapes can be eaten raw, and also usually cooked in sweet or sour dishes.
PREVENTING FREE RADICALS
The antioxidant content in black grapes is more than that of red grapes and green grapes. So black
grapes are good in preventing damage to cells in the body due to free radical exposure.
MAINTAINING EYE HEALTH
Black grapes also contain lutein and zeaxanthin (included in the group of carotenoids) which work to maintain eye health. If eaten continuously regularly in the right quantities, black grapes can prevent oxidative damage and prevent blindness.
CONTAINS ANTIMICROBES
Antimicrobial is a substance or component that can inhibit bacterial growth. According to a research
article published in the Indian Journal of Pharmacology, black grapes contain antimicrobial
polyphenolic compounds in large amounts. Polyphenol compounds can control the reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms.
Broccoli is an edible plant that has many advantages in medicine. The chemical content in the broccoli is sulforaphane, glucoiberin, glucoraphanin, carotenoids, myrosinase, and vitamins. Sulforaphane is the most useful chemical. Sulforaphane is an isothiocyanate formed due to the enzyme myrosinase on glucoraphanin. Broccoli can be used in the treatment of cancer, skin diseases, arthritis, diabetes, kidney disease, cholesterol, and others. The word broccoli comes from Italian broccoli, which means "flowering cabbage". Broccoli resembles cauliflower and has been considered a unique and valuable food among Italians. There are three types of broccoli. The most common is Calabrese broccoli, often referred to as “ broccoli”. Broccoli is a cold-weather crop that grows best between 18°C and 23°C.
Glucoraphanin is one of the key nutrients in broccoli that makes it a superfood. However, the natural glucoraphanin is only be found in the mature broccoli at a variable content, and, there is no way for consumers to detect it. It has also been shown that glucoraphanin is present at higher concentrations in broccoli seeds and 3-days-old broccoli sprouts. TrueBroc® brand Glucoraphanin from broccoli seeds was developed to provide consumers with a concentrated source of glucoraphanin with high and meaningful levels.
- Provide powerfully antioxidants protection
- Eliminate harmful toxins from our bodies.
- Boost body’s natural defense against oxidative stress caused by pollutants and toxins which we are exposed to on a daily basis.
- Increases indirect antioxidant enzymes that remain active in the body up to 72 hours at which direct antioxidants are often eliminated in hours.
- Has the long-lasting benefits than other antioxidants.
- Induces Phase2 enzyme that Eliminate Free radicals and pollutants.
- Helps to maintain healthily inflammatory response.
